Letter, 1816 February 6th [to] the commanding officer of the Military Academy, West Point, N.Y.

Letter from acting inspector general's officer directing that cadets who decline their brevets be attached to the Regiment of Light Artillery and remain at West Point. It further directs that Lt. Colonel Eustis may retain their commissions.
